Wats On-Trend Event
We had a blast at the Watsons Day Out Event earlier in April @ a colonial mansion along Mount Pleasant Road. Now there is another event organised by Watsons which features their trendy products – hence the name Wats On-Trend.
Am so pleased this event was held in the CBD area near my office and hence no additional transport costs incurred. Upon arrival at the Sofitel So Singapore, we were separated into smaller groups of 6-7 and ushered into a hotel room to play the Escape game whereby we need to complete a few designated tasks in order to exit the room. Am so glad I have familiar bloggers such as Amanda, Sydney and Hannah in my group!
Although I work near Sofitel So Singapore, I have never visited their hotel rooms and am pleasantly surprised by how good they look with the victorian style décor!
Escape Room Game
So below are snippets of us playing the Escape Room Game. Mouseover to read the captions!
We did all sorts of fun stuff including shaving balloons, trying to empty a bottle of mouthwash by rinsing them using our mouths and applying body lotion all over our hands to get the clue out. The amazing part was that the new mouthwash by Listerine tasted good and didn’t burn my mouth as I expected as I had traumatic experiences with their mouthwash earlier.
Am thankful that we survived the huddles and managed to reunite at the roof bar for light refreshments.
Wats On-Trend?
We left the event with a huge bag of goodies containing the trending products as usual.
So what’s on trend? We had a range of toiletries including skincare, haircare, body care and oral care.. In fact, I took almost an hour taking photos of all of them!
Mouseover the pictures below for product description!

Omg I love escape room games! My boyfriend and I did one a few months ago and had so much fun. We didn’t make it out due to me lacking my common sense that night…haha!
Looks like you had a great time AND you got lots of fun goodies! I love creative events like that!

This type of event seems really fun! Would love attending something similar and I can feel the pain of taking a really long time to take the perfect picture, hehe. Have a lovely week! <3

Sounds like you had a great time and all those tasks actually sound fun. I would’ve been scared of that mouth wash too to be honest 🙂

What a fun idea for a blogger event! Love that it’s an interactive get together instead of just the traditional meet and greet. Wow, you got so many giveaways too!
